Irish rider Trevor Breen and his one-eyed wonder horse Adventure De Kannan have carried on their winning streak at Hickstead and won the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Cup. They claimed the top spot by 0.05 of a second from Britain's Robert Whitaker.

Just last month Breen and 'Addy' won the Equestrian.com Derby at the venue, a class he had repeatedly come close to winning. Their list of successes already included the British Speed Derby, Eventing Grand Prix and the All England Prix.

Trevor is the younger brother of Hickstead-based Shane Breen, who has won the Queen's Cup twice since 2008.
